    The stay here was nice, liked the hotel, it was clean with amazing location very close to the attached restaurant, the extraordinary tavern and The Century House. I was met by amiable and exceptional staff at the lobby area.

    I truly enjoyed the property and its lovely breakfast.

    i had inviting, exceptional room with a mini-refrigerator and coffee. the food was reasonably priced, included toast and eggs. the people working in the hotel were good and kind.

    Amazing hotel with great amenities like free wi-fi, a cozy bar, and 24-hour reception. The super nice team during my first stay, assisting with sim cards. I always look forward to returning for Christmas!

    Pretty, quaint, delicious restaurant attached to it! Quiet.

    I called prior to booking online to make sure they were not far from airport, and that I could get a cab there late at night if my flight was delayed. they did not mention that they had a shuttle service! so I paid $20.00 for a cab ride. I wish they had mentioned they had the shuttle service.....everything else was just fine!

    The historicmcentury house restaurant is an excellent dining venue and is a major reason to stay at this hotel. The tavern and dining room both are excellent-- good service, good range of menu options interestingly prepared and a good wine list. The colonial dining room and tavern are warm and intimate settings with a fireplace and classical music for a really relaxing meal.

    1)The rooms do not smell fresh. . They are mostly all slightly musty smelling or have been sprayed with too much freshened.2) Also, they need to put a guide to the tv channels in the room. Searching blindly for one's favorite channels is not efficient. I couldn't find comedy central or msnbc. 3) the breakfast is not bad but is certainly not up to the standards of the restaurant upstairs. They need more healthy items like good whole grain breads and baked goods and plain yogurt and fresh fruit rather than from jars.

    While the stay wasn't perfect, the staff was incredibly cheerful and accommodating when we raised issues. They moved our room upon our request to an end room next to an empty one when we complained about a barking dog next to us. The breakfast was overwhelmingly busy with only one staff person who remained pleasant and attentive to all guests as she ran around to keep up. When we complained about the room service bringing our order to us in 3 deliveries, 20 minutes apart, rendering my husband's dinner inedible as it got too cold before he received everything, they took the entire dinner off our bill. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice array of hot and cold foods. And the pool was clean and relaxing.

    I would attribute the issues we had to it being a close to if not sold out weekend. At the times when the guests seemed to be eating all at once, the staff seemed overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with getting food right or keeping it available (in the case of breakfast).

    We were visiting the area, and the Century House, was very convienent to the areas, Saratoga and Vermont. The room was neat, clean and restful.
